Description of Duties
To provide Information Security services as part of a team of 3 individuals. Duties will include creation and maintenance of C&A Packages, introduction and maintenance of controls (technical, managerial and/or operational).
Requirements
- Firm understanding of NIST C&A process with experience creating compliant C&A packages.
- Experience with network security architecture for enterprise sized organizations.
- Firewall and IDS administration experience (preferably Cisco PIX and Snort/Sourcefire).
- CISSP required, other security certifications (i.e. CISM, CISA) also desired.
- Preferred experience at National Institutes of Health or Health and Human Services.
- Solid hands-on experience with the following NIST documents 800-18, 800-37, 800-30, 800-53, 800-53a, 800-60, FIPS 199, FIPS 200.
- Understanding of FISMA requirements.
- Experience managing, mentoring and/or coaching junior/intermediate IA specialists.
- Ability to provide status reporting, including clear metrics.
Special Skills/ Knowledge/ Work Experience
- 5+ years of IT experience with bachelors degree (7+ years without degree)
- 3-5 years of IA/IS experience
