Human Factors Engineering (HFE)

CSMI Human Factors Professionals develop and define human performance requirements for systems and technology; including developing methods and measures to influence and evaluate how the design of new and existing technology and systems impact human-performance. Currently, working with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), CSMI is committed to using cutting-edge technologies and scientific talent in its quest to make America safer. CSMI is developing a human-systems integration roadmap that will aid the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify, develop, and apply a standard process to enhance security technology and system design, system safety, and operational efficiency.
